Privacy Policy 1.2 takes effect — department in charge named instead of the privacy officer

The Privacy Policy has been revised to version 1.2 and published, and takes effect on the same day. Section 13 now names the department in charge (Secretariat) and its contact details instead of the privacy officer’s name (Article 30 (1) 6 of the Personal Information Protection Act), and the representative’s name has been removed from the controller line. No purpose, item or retention period has changed.
Privacy Policy 1.1 takes effect · Online membership applications open

The Privacy Policy has been revised to version 1.1 and published, and takes effect on the same day. The revision reflects the member service (membership applications and member pages) and the membership administration screen; the changes are shown in the comparison table in the Korean text of the Privacy Policy, where the previous version (1.0) also remains available.
From the same day, online membership applications using a Google account are accepted. Please read How to Join and the Membership Guide first.

Inaugural General Meeting held — Articles of Association adopted and officers elected
August 9, 2026
On August 9, 2026, the Inaugural General Meeting of the Korean Society for Artificial Intelligence in Rehabilitation was held at Kyungbok University, where the Articles of Association were adopted and the officers were elected. Under Article 1 of the Addenda, the Articles of Association adopted that day have been in effect since the same day.

On the basis of these minutes, the Society was approved by the Head of Haeundae District Tax Office on August 31, 2026, as an “organization deemed a juristic person” under Article 13 (2) of the Framework Act on National Taxes, and was assigned Unique Number (NTS) 603-82-83752.
Correction — This notice was originally posted under the title “Results of the launch ceremony of the Founding Preparatory Committee” and stated that the event held that day was not the Inaugural General Meeting. However, the founding agenda, including the adoption of the Articles of Association and the election of officers, was in fact dealt with that day, so the notice was corrected as above on September 29, 2026.
Name and English name of the Society confirmed

The name of the Society has been set as 대한재활인공지능학회 (English name: Korean Society for Artificial Intelligence in Rehabilitation; abbreviation: KSAIR).
This name was confirmed in Article 1 of the Articles of Association at the Inaugural General Meeting on August 9, 2026.
First meeting of founding members held
August 8, 2026
The first meeting of founding members was held to prepare for the founding of the Society, and the direction of the founding and the division of roles were discussed. The meeting identified the following as the main tasks for the Society’s initial areas of research and activity: linking integrated community care with motion analysis, and what information should be derived from movement data.
Receiving notices. A General Meeting is convened by a notice stating the purpose of the meeting, the agenda, and the date, time, and place, sent at least 7 days before the meeting (Article 16 (4) of the Articles of Association). To receive these notices, please become a member.
